Motorised curtains · Jaipur

Keep your curtains. Replace the thing they hang from.

A motorised track takes the curtains you already chose and already paid for. The fabric does not change, the pelmet usually does not change, and the wall above the window takes a bracket instead of a rail. Open on a schedule, on a scene, on a phone, or by hand.

The question that decides your price

How wide is the window,
and what is above it?

Curtains are priced per window, and the two things that move the number are track width and what the motor has to hide behind. A three-foot bedroom window with an open rail is the bottom of the band. A twelve-foot living room run with heavy blackout fabric and a shallow pelmet is the top of it, because the motor has to pull more weight and fit into less space.

This is why curtains are the one service we will not quote from a photograph. We measure the track run, check the pelmet depth, and lift the fabric to weigh it. All at the free survey, before you commit to anything.

Track width

Priced per running foot of track. A wide living-room run needs a stronger motor than two bedroom windows of the same total width.

Pelmet depth

The motor sits at one end of the track. A shallow or closed pelmet means either a slimmer motor at a higher price, or an honest conversation about a visible motor housing.

Fabric weight

Heavy blackout and lined fabric pulls harder. We weigh yours rather than assuming, because an underspecified motor is the single most common reason motorised curtains get returned.

What the price includes

  • Motorised track cut to your measured width
  • Motor specified for your fabric weight, not a default
  • Rehanging the curtains you already own
  • Wall control, app control and scene integration
  • Open and close positions set with you at handover
  • First-year cover on top of the manufacturer warranty

What it does not include

  • New curtains or fabric
  • Building or deepening a pelmet
  • A power point above the window where none exists nearby
  • Stitching or altering curtain drop after rehanging
  • Blinds, which use a different mechanism and are quoted separately

Three things people
want to know first.

Can I still pull the curtains by hand?

Yes, on every track we fit. A gentle pull moves the curtain and the motor follows. The same hard rule we apply to switches applies here. If a motorised curtain cannot be worked by a guest who has never heard of your app, we have installed it wrong.

How loud is it, really?

Quiet enough for a bedroom is a specification, not a marketing line, and it costs more than the standard motor. We fit the silent motors as standard in bedrooms and offer the cheaper ones for living rooms, where a two-second run nobody is asleep for does not matter.

What happens in a power cut?

The curtain stays where it is and you pull it by hand. The track holds its position rather than dropping open, and the motor picks up its schedule again when power returns without needing to be reset.
